You want to know how to use Canva for personal branding?
Let's first talk about what personal branding is.
It is the expression of yourself. It is the expression of your core beliefs laid out for the world to see. These are the core beliefs that guide your hand in all execution of content. Whether it's a video or a Facebook Post. This is the place you pull your inspiration from. It's what comes out of your mouth when you talk to people.
Yes it is important.
Today I want to give you two tips on how to use Canva to express your brand.
Imaging is vital, what you put into your images will stay with people. They will come to know your brand simply through your consistent images and content. Make sure it communicates who you are and what you stand for.
Me.. I like to have fun and I don't take myself to seriously so I like less formal images and a more comfortable and family oriented feel. like to create images that have my face on them, which furthers this very comfortable feel.
I use this technique in everything. It puts my face to my content and people appreciate that. They get o know me and I relate the content to my message. I relate it to my core beliefs which is my brand. I use the upload content section relentlessly and almost never use the pre-made templates.
The hardest part is getting a quick fiverr gig and having someone remove the background. Or if you have the skill do it yourself in Photoshop. I'm pretty lucky because I have the advantage of being married to an imaging genius!
I also have a personally branded watermark which you can also have crated on Fiverr.com. This is a particularly useful tool if you're personal branding includes memes. If you know how to use Canva, then creating personally branded memes is just too easy. You can purchase backgrounds from the site itself or you can upload your own. Which I prefer.
It is incredibly versatile and the images look amazing! I created the header you see on this blog using Canva.
I've demonstrated the simplest techniques for these two tips in todays video. Enjoy!
